Ella Jane

This evening we celebrated miss sweet pea Ella Jane's birthday. Since Steph is due pretty much any day now, we decided it would be best to get her birthday celebration in before Baby Pechacek #3 crashed the party.  So it wasn't Ella's exact birthday today, but that lil' thing dove into that cake like it was.   This adorable little girl is *so* much fun, and such a happy little girl.

We supplied Ella with a cake of her own to dig into.  And while she took her time getting into it, she did quite a number on it.  Ending up with frosting on the ground, on the walls, in her hands, and all over her arms, hands, and face.  It was incredibly entertaining, and adorable to watch.  She would dig in a little bit, taste it, and then sit back and giggle.

Ella was slow to start crawling, but now that she is mobile...boy is she agile.  She stands up with no problem, and quickly at that, and walks around with the assistance of helping hands.  So it won't be long until she is joining big brother Dain, in running up and down the hallways.  She is such a captivating, beautiful, jolly little girl.  And I get 'perma-grin' just thinking about her.

For the first few months, and up until recently, she looked exactly like my mom.  (Ella's grandma)  But now according to the pictures I've seen of my sister as a baby, she's looking more and more like Steph every day.

Happy Birthday to my Beautiful, Captivating, Jolly niece Ella Jane.  I can't wait for all the future celebrations with you.   I love you sweat pea!
